Or a post, or a NaNoWriMo one, or anything else. The day job change in June has proven to be a hinderance to my side projects like this podcast. It hasn’t died completely, but it is in a nice coma waiting some good drugs to revive it.

We’ve been a month since a podcast, and that one was after a long break. It’s the STORY Stupid hasn’t podfadded, but as I’m working a different job, my schedule is such that I’ve not been able to work out time for recording and editing yet. There should be an episode soon as we’re going to be kicking of Novel Writing Week soon and I’ll get some content up about that. Talk to you all soon.
FYI: I’ve been out of town for a week, but right before I left I did an interview with Richard Lowry.
Richard is one of our Wordtrip writers who we’ve watched go from self-published book on the first gulf war to very successful traditional publisher book on the battle for An Nasiriyah. I’ve got to edit the interview together as I did it with skype and audio hijack pro, but it should be coming up later this week.
I recorded an episode last night and when I went to listen to it realized that I was going to have to re-do it. So tonight I’ll re-record and get up a new episode.
FYI My iBook where I record the podcast (and do all my work really) has decided to freak out (I suspect a hard drive failure) so I’m getting that working again before I get a chance to do another podcast.
The first podcast was a bit of a test to see how much info ends up in a 4-5 minute podcast. I’m hoping the next one will have Mudge involved and we can discuss the book club book for the month, our first Novel Writing Week, amongst other things. I think we’ll probably hit in the 10 minute range, which is my goal for the show. I think I’ve mentioned before that we want to do some public domain audiobook chapters between “real” shows. That is still in the works; I’m just trying to get a backlog of chapters done, and books selected.
Thanks for tuning in and Happy Wordtripping!
